Design is invisible work

Design when done right is invisible work. I think that's why my portfolio, my work, my emphasis is focused on the invisibility of it all.

I think people forget that and aim to chase the beautiful and magical visuals and interactions and AI of it all, but remember when it was different? Growing up, my mom would wake me up every single day by starting the shower for me so the water would be hot by the time I arrived to it. Every time my sister and I would sing "Damaged" by Danity Kane, we sang the same parts of the duet every time, never overtaking each other or stealing each other's parts. These moments are the invisible work and love my mom and sister did and had for me. Little things that no one else knows but were done with the care and love in their heart.

That's what I feel true design is about. It's about doing something quietly because you care about the outcome, not the credit.
