ABOUT ME
Mehul Sharma, Product Designer
I’m a mid-level product designer at BlueHalo, leading UI/UX and integrating 3D design to create more immersive and intuitive experiences. I graduated from UC San Diego in 2023 with a degree in Cognitive Science–Design & Interaction, a field that helped me bridge my love for human psychology with my natural instinct for product experience. Growing up, I was always drawn to understanding people psychologically rather than building systems. But when I discovered Cognitive Science, everything clicked—it gave me a way to merge my analytical mind with my creative side.
Now, I design solutions that aren’t just functional but truly connect with people, because to me, good design isn’t just about efficiency—it’s about empathy.
Outside of work, I’m always looking for ways to explore creativity and connection. I volunteer at the San Diego Zoo as a guest ambassador, work with my hands through pottery, clay, and film photography, and find calm through yoga (I was a teacher at 19). And when I need to reset, you’ll find me on a long walk, adventuring through the community around me with a matcha.

Make things easy
Too often, product development prioritizes stakeholders over users, but I push for a different approach. The best products aren’t just functional; they’re intuitive, enjoyable, and, most importantly, easy to use.
Stay curious
I love learning new things and improving my skills in any way possible. In the past year, I've dove into 3D design using CAD, Onshape, Vectary, Spline, and Womp3D, along with AR/VR design. Right now, I'm nurturing my creativity and innovation through Stanford's creative certificates.
Be kind
Be nice to people. Spend time getting to know individuals from different backgrounds and perspectives to learn more about the world and how you can help others.
